Backrooms is an atmospheric exploration and escape game set in a strange, endless building filled with unusual rooms and corridors. The goal is simple: find your way out as quickly as possible. However, the environment is designed to confuse and challenge your sense of direction, making every decision important.
HOW TO PLAY BACKROOMS
In Backrooms, players begin in a large and unfamiliar space made up of connected rooms and hallways. Each area looks similar but has small differences that can help or mislead your path forward.
Your main objective is to:
- Explore each area carefully
- Search for clues and useful objects
- Identify the correct path to the next zone
- Reach the final exit through multiple levels
Some objects in the environment may not have an obvious purpose at first, but they can help you understand how to progress. Notes or signs left behind may also provide hints about the structure of the building.
The game encourages patience and attention to detail rather than rushing forward.
Game Levels
Level 0 - The Starting Area
This is the first area players encounter. It features long corridors, repeating patterns, and simple room layouts. The environment helps players learn basic navigation and exploration.
Level 1 - Expanded Spaces
In this stage, the layout becomes more complex. Players will find larger areas with machinery-like structures and changing conditions. Navigation becomes more challenging, requiring careful observation of surroundings.
Level 2 - Advanced Maze
This level in the Backroom game introduces the most complex layout in the game. The environment is darker and more confusing, with long pathways and industrial-style structures. Players must rely heavily on memory and clues to find the correct route forward.
